Here's my doodle and tribute to one of the greatest presidents of the United States of America- Abraham Lincoln.
FYI: He became the 16th U.S. president and took office in March of 1861. While in office, he made an incredible impact on our divided nation by issuing the Emancipation Proclamation; a federal law on banning slavery- which later became the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution and ending slavery in America for good. On April of 1865- he was assassinated during his presidency, but his name, image, and efforts- will live on forever.
Opening statement of the Gettysburg Address (Nov. 19th 1863):
"Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal."
