Tao Nguyen's Sinbad Proteus Production Drawing

Happy anniversary to DreamWorks' 'Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas' movie!
(Released today on July 2nd, 2003.)

BTW- Here's a copy of my production drawing. I worked on this production as an Assistant Final Line character animator and Proteus was my character. This marks my 3rd and final film for DreamWorks.)

FYI- Here's a back story of my own little voyage to the 'Sinbad' film production: After having left Walt Disney Feature Animation studios in 2002, and then moving onto Warner Bros., and then sailing back home again to DreamWorks- I finally felt welcomed again by the studio because I've been away for a couple of years and I was glad they didn't hold a grudge with me because I didn't sign my 'Spirit' film contract and left them for Disney's 'Atlantis' production instead back in 2000. Maybe it was a good thing because not only did they bumped up my title from Inbetweener (from when I first started on 'The Prince of Egypt' production) to an Assistant Final Line animator and that also gave me a nice little pay increase. Anyway, what's most important and memorable to me from moving around from one studio to another studio will always be the people! I am so blessed and honored to be sailing side by side with some of the most talented artists and production crew in Hollywood's film industry!
